School Day

Reception Gate 

The gate will be opened at 8.50 am and will be closed at 9 am.  The school day begins at 9am and finishes at 3.15pm. Any children who arrive after 9am will need to go into school via the school office. 

KS1 Playground Gate
The KS1 gate is opened at 8.40 am and closes at 8.50am. The school days starts at 8.50am and ends at 3.20pm. This gate is used by the children and parents of Y1 and Y2.   Any children who arrive after 8.50am will need to go into school via the school office.   

KS1 have a 15 minute break in the morning. KS1 lunchtimes are staggered from 12 noon until 1.15 pm. In the afternoon, they have another break of 10 minutes when they may do their daily running. Afternoon sessions finish at 3.20pm for Y1 and Y2. 

KS2 Playground Gate 
The KS2 playground gate is opened at 8.45am for Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 and closes at 8.55am. The school day begins at 8.55am and ends at 3.25pm.  Any children arriving after 8.55am will need to go into school via the school office.  

KS2 children have a 15 minute break in the morning. Lunchtime is staggered for the children between 12  and 1.15pm.  Afternoon lessons begin at 1pm and 1.15pm and finish at 3.25 pm.  

The school day is 32.5 hours long for KS1 and KS2. 

Assemblies take place on Monday mornings and Friday afternoons in the school hall.
